At 7:40, prior to the regular meeting, Randall Huffman of the BET answered a number of committee members’ questions regarding the new 2014-15 Town Budget, including capital projects (MISA, flooding control) and operating (additional firemen and so forth). BET Chair Michael Mason requests that we allow BET Member Randall Huffman to brief us on the '14-'15 Town Budget at our meeting on Monday evening. Having already scheduled our Call items, I asked Randy to come at 7:40 pm, in advance of our regular start time. This is informational, not a voting item.

LAND USE COMMITTEE REPORT
December 2, 2013

1) Item #3 Acceptance of Finney Knoll as a Public Street. Vote 11-0-0 (District 2 absent). Amy Siebert, DPW Commissioner, addressed the issue.

Flood & Erosion Control Board Interviews

The RTM Land Use Committee and Public Works Committee will meet jointly on Monday, December 2 in the Cone Room, 2nd Floor, Town Hall, at 8 pm, to interview three nominees to the Flood and Erosion Control Board. DPW Commissioner Amy Siebert will join us.

A goal will be to educate our members, and through us, our Districts and the Full RTM, about the workings of the FECB and current issues and challenges. With that in mind, nominees were sent the following questions:
