1) Item #4 (Vote of 12-0-0 on 3/4/12) – Reappointment of Robert Byrnes to the South Western Regional Planning Agency

Mr. Byrnes said the SWRPA Route 1 Plan needs to be championed by the Town, the RTM, and other organizations similar to the way that the MISA Project was championed, in order to advance to implementation. He stated that I-95 and the spur rail lines in Fairfield County are underfunded by the State Department of Transportation relative to highways and public transportation upstate.

RTM Land Use Committee Report – March, 2013
The RTM Land Use Committee met on Monday, March 4 at 8 pm in the Mazza Room. All Districts were represented. All votes were unanimous 12 – 0.

Item 2. Reappointment of Margarita T. Alban to the Planning & Zoning Commission. Ms Alban responded to questions regarding zoning regulations, grade plane regulations, soil testing, surveys of residents, Floor Area Ratio, and governance. Our vote was 12 – 0.
